Bybit is a cryptocurrency derivatives exchange that includes BTC, ETH, EOS and XRP perpetual contracts. It is really popular right now because it offers huge liquidity and extremely fast transaction speeds at 100,000 Tx/s per contract. Additionally, Bybit enables traders to leverage their positions up to 100x leverage. Bybit has a 24/7 customer support service in 6 different languages and offers users a really simple yet effective interface.

🔹Features

Bybit has no server downtime since maintenance and upgrades do not affect the usability of the exchange and guarantees to pay the full cost of any transaction compromised due to system error. Bybit has a wide variety of professional trading orders like ‘Conditional Orders’, Take-Profit, ‘Fill or Kill’ and many more.

Bybit leverage system can make use of an Insurance Fund in case a trader loses more than his initial investment. With Bybit a trader will never have a negative balance and his leveraged position will always be liquidated if needed. Additionally, Bybit has a Risk Limit enabled which limits the leverage allowed depending on how big your position is. The larger your position is, the lower the leverage that is allowed.

Bybit introduced a new mechanism called the ‘dual-price mechanism’ used to protect traders from getting their positions liquidated due to market manipulation. Bybit simply uses the global ‘Spot Price’ as the trigger for liquidation because it is much harder to manipulate.

🔹Bitmex vs Bybit

Bybit’s main competitor is BitMEX, a well known cryptocurrency exchange that also offers up to 100x leverage and perpetual contracts. The main difference between both exchanges is the fact that Bybit transaction speed is much faster, something that is crucial for professional traders, especially when they are using leveraged positions. Although U.S. residents aren’t allowed to hold a position on Bybit or Bitmex, if you are using Bybit through 3Commas you can actually trade on the exchange.

Unlike BitMEX, which only processes 1 withdrawal per day, Bybit processes withdrawals 3 times a day at ‘0800,1600,2400UTC.’ Bybit has a trading fee of 0.075% for the takers and a 0.025% fee for the makers.

🔹3Commas

is planning on launching trading bots for Bybit in a few days and will include Short/Long Simple Bots.

Stay tuned for future updates!
